Our stay at the cottage was absolutely mind-blowing! From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by the neighbor at no.9 who had thoughtfully stocked the kitchen with milk, bread, Prosecco, and even baked us a cake. The cottage itself exceeded our expectations, with a gorgeous garden and a hot tub that comfortably fit all eight of us. Even on a rainy evening, the hot tub was super relaxing. We also loved the recently added garden 'chalet' which was a lovely addition for our large group. The cleanliness and homeliness of the cottage were top-notch, and we appreciated the convenience of the cinema room in the basement. The value for money was jaw-dropping. We also want to thank the owners who were easily accessible for any questions we had. The location was fabulous, just a short walk into town. The arrival basket of goodies was beautiful, and the facilities were excellent, including a wide range of glasses and china. our stay was stunning from beginning to end, and we highly recommend this fabulous accommodation.

The location of the hotel is excellent, just a short walk into town. The house has a lovely atmosphere and the rooms are comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped with all utensils required for cooking. The cinema room and hot tub are fabulous amenities for guests to enjoy during their stay.
The lack of parking may be an inconvenience for guests, as there is no on-site parking available and double-yellow lines surround the area.

We stayed at Marwood Cottage for work and brought our three dogs along. The house had a wonderful atmosphere, with all the amenities we needed and more. The location was perfect, just a 2-minute walk to town yet still peaceful. Parking wasn't an issue. The garden and cinema room were enjoyed by both us and our furry friends. Mel and Debs were easy to deal with, and the homemade cake in the welcome pack was amazing. We will definitely stay here again!
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

The house had all the amenities we needed and more, including a well-equipped kitchen and a hot tub. the location was excellent, just a short walk to town and yet still peaceful. the homemade cakes and welcome package were a thoughtful touch. We also enjoyed the cinema room in the basement, a great addition to the house.
There was only one bathroom in the cottage, which could be a challenge for larger groups. parking was limited and we had to park a few minutes away from the property.

Terrace: The highlight of our stay was definitely the terrace at Marwood Cottage. It felt like having our own little slice of paradise, with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. We spent many evenings enjoying a glass of wine, feeling like VIPs overlooking the city lights.
Bunk beds: Our only minor issue was the double bed that was formed as part of the bunk beds. While it could be a fun option for families with kids, it didn't provide the same level of comfort as a regular double bed.

I always choose this place for my stay. Staff found my lost ID card during my first visit. It suits me perfectly and has everything I need: Wi-Fi, dryer, electric kettle, cookware, flat-screen TV. Coming back for another trip!
